The workmanship is excellent with depth and detail, showing imagination and freedom of spirt!
This jewelry box contains a great deal of detail, it appears to be very well balanced, have sturdy legs, good lines and angels.
The color scheme shows both the mystery and beauty of love.
The black box is the mystery, love is shone thru the red roses, the gold heart filigree legs support the entire work, the brass (or bronze) color of the Key represents the "strength" of what is needed to open the lock. In this way what love is,
is represented, but the meaning of the "key" is up to each person to discover. Very elegant symbolism!
All appliques to the box appear to be securely attached.
I do not know of anyone who would not want to add this lovely jewelry box to their collection!
